The session will open with a focused presentation of Israel’s strategic plan for accelerating the medical-device ecosystem—why now is a pivotal inflection point and what “from strategy to action” looks like for 2026 across regulation, validation, commercialization, and adoption.
We’ll then shift to concise TED-style case studies that show what truly scales in MedTech—from startup-to-clinic success, to surgical innovation pathways, to integrating with a global industry leader.
In the second half, collaborative roundtables will tackle the core enablers and barriers to scale, including global commercialization capabilities, clinician-led innovation, adoption in Israel’s health system, angel community development, national-level policy levers, and Innovation in surgery.

The session will open with a presentation of Israel’s strategic plan for the growth of its digital health ecosystem, highlighting why now is a pivotal moment and what “from strategy to action” means for 2026.
It will then move to three concise TED talks of case studies that demonstrate what truly scales in digital health - including a startup success story, the Ministry of Health’s Digital Health Project, and Personalized Medicine: Healthcare Reimagined – Coding the Future of Medicine Through Digital Acceleration.
The second part of the session will feature collaborative roundtables addressing core enablers and barriers to scale, covering themes such as cybersecurity in healthtech, commercialization and adaptation to U.S. market shifts, policy and regulation challenges, and the Ministry of Health’s project on data regulation and commercialization models for hospitals and HMOs.

The session will open with the main findings from the five-year strategic plan for growing Israel’s biotech ecosystem, developed by 8400 The Health Network.
Following that, representatives from leading global pharma companies will share how AI technologies are reshaping the pharmaceutical world from drug discovery and development to clinical trials.
We will explore the opportunities and challenges in adopting advanced technologies across the pharma value chain and hear from trailblazing Israeli startups that have built AI-driven companies at various stages, collaborating with international pharma partners.
Together, we’ll discuss how Israel can harness technology and innovation to drive sustainable growth and global leadership in biotech.
